I'll be honest.  The reason I picked up photography, was to have great photos of my kid.  Before he was born, I invested in a nice camera, some lenses, and set out to learn as much as I could about photography.  I did this so when he finally arrived, I could capture memories my friends and family would want to frame and put up on their walls.

Well my son is here, and yes, I have taken thousands of photographs of him already.  Since then I have been asked by friends, family, and even friends of friends to photograph their families, children, and events.  I have found a new joy in capturing the moments that they will cherish forever.
